On Copyright:
Copyright law is one of those areas that seems like its simple at first glance, but gets a whole lot trickier the more you go into it. You could be sited for copyright infringement simply by posting the wrong picture on your Facebook page, or posting the wrong information on a blog, or making a remix of some other persons presentation.
Copyright is the last thing you want to be noticed for or have someone confront you about using the copywritten slogan or text or even trademarked color scheme from some other persons site, such as your competitor's site.

On Fauxtography:
I would like to start out by saying that I feel only a little put out by the negative connotations implied. I’m displeased because this art form of “fauxtography” is no less effective than any other digital of tangible art. I am able to create completely new outstanding masterpieces by combining multiple photos together that would have otherwise been plain and ordinary. Going beyond the compositing abilities, I can also bring old photos back from the dead, I am able to add color to black and whites, and animate washed out colors.
I can, however, acknowledge that there are times when these processes may not be in good practice. Journalism is one case. In journalism, the readers expect that the truth will be told to them or a valid point will be made, and they will be enlightened by the journalistic process, but as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and those words need to be clear and true in photo journalism. When you can alter the content of a picture, even to simply adjust the color levels or remove flash washout, it shows what the false reason of the picture is, or what the picture could be like. Completely changing a photo, or combining photos together is a lie. The best intentions of each art form become perverted and distorted.
The two art forms of digital image manipulation and photo journalism have places in society. They just don’t cohabitate well. The public criticism to the combination of these arts shows us where they will be headed in the future: divorce court. These both cannot exist together in any justifiable form.

My presence in the cloud isn't part of my life much because I'm always working. Although, when I was younger, I was always in the cloud. I connected to Facebook, Myspace, and Meetme(used to be myyearbook). I am still connected to Facebook now, but I have also connected with Pinterest, and Instagram. I use those the most, but in my spare time I'm usually working or hanging with my boyfriend. I am a fan of Google sad, but true. I use Google as much as I can no matter where I am. I do mostly use the web to do online shopping, now I'm the type of person that loves shopping on the web, getting deals when I can and looking at new arrivals without driving to the store itself. I'm not in the "Don't spend much anymore" phase, so my boyfriend and I can buy a house when we are ready. There's a lot you can do on the web now a days, if you want the weather you can look that up on the web, if you want to know local or world news you can search the web for that. Honestly, the web has become pretty popular because there's always something you can do on the web. When I wasn't into the web I would do other stuff, but now that the web is somewhat part of my life I can see why lots of people talk about it. It may not be something you'll want your toddlers to start getting into, but as they grow up they will learn the steps just like me and other people. The web may seem hard at first, but it's worth getting to know, it could have all your answers. Five years ago I was on the web all the time, now I know how to spare my time by spending time with others while having some spare time to search the lovely web. I used to be more into IMing and emailing, but now it's texting, Skype, Facetime, and Facebook.

What makes the cloud dark? Well, there comes a time in life where you can’t depend on the internet if you don’t have it. Ten years ago I was probably about 10 years old internet wasn’t even on my mind, I didn’t use it much in school; I honestly liked reading and writing when I was little. Without internet I had to sign out books from the library to do my research. That got tiring after a while, so I went home to my parents and told them about the internet. As I got older I noticed that everyone was using the internet, so I would argue with my parents about how I needed a computer to do my homework on, something that was really expensive because I thought expensive meant the best. I have given up reading and doing research out of books, I did it too much in school that it pushed me away from it. The cloud has changed drastically by adding more and more onto the web, and blocking certain sites. Most sites you have to pay for now to read them. The more presence they put in the cloud can slow down other networks; an iPhone can only take so much storage on it, so if you download too much of the cloud it can slow down the iPhone. There are ways that the cloud gets frustrating, when it loads too slow, or glitches and doesn’t load. The cloud has lots of dark sides.
